Today, my best ideas are embodied in painting. In my artwork, I combine experimental techniques and use various natural materials to enhance the sessions, while maintaining a contemporary cartoon style influence. Like, for example: a combination of oil painting with eggshell appliqué and non-standard forms of fabric canvas with expressive spraying of paint.
In matters of coloring of my paintings, I use: The theory of the Swiss psychologist Max Lüscher "On the influence of color on the psychological and physical state of a person", and also the theory of Color Healing by Ted Andrews.
In my artistic practice, I explore the following themes:
• Femininity in the concept of feminism, its sensual manifestations and connections with nature. Using sophisticated female natures, emotional portraits and ambiguous female facial expressions, which immerses the viewer in thought.
• Special people and children with autism, issues of their socialization and interactions with the surrounding world. Because this is my personal family history and I have lived with it for 17 years. I create paintings and installations through co-creation, for maximum emotional and cognitive empathy.
• Eternal themes of love and relationships between the two sexes. Based on the research of clinical psychology professor Sue Johnson, where: "Relationships are emotional closeness and the inner need of any person for secure emotional attachment...".
A separate place is occupied by reflection on the topic of war. I have been in Ukraine since the beginning of the invasion. Like everyone, I am as much as possible immersed in all the emotions and experiences that are happening on my land. Through my art, I wanted to show the whole world the feelings of Ukrainians: from pain and despair to courage, hope and struggle. To share thoughts about how war changes homelands and perceptions of home.
